There is a mailing list for announcements and discussion (vtp) for users of the VTP software. Will keep you informed about updates to the site and the VTP software. Discussion subjects include using the VTP software, finding sources of geospatial data, processing those data into useful form, and other areas of general interest to the visualization community.
Traffic is modest (average 1-3 messages a day) and the membership is moderated to eliminate spam.
Your email address will not be shared without your permission.
If you are primarily interested in Algorithms for Game Development, you are advised to try the Game Developer Algorithms mailing list. It is a better place than the VTP list for discussion of issues not related to visualizing the real world.
There is a separate mailing list for the VTP software on Unix (Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OSX, etc.)
